AIRAX

surf. art. see.

You’ve got the board, the one that means something to you – it deserves to be on a wall, to be seen.

Whether it is art on a board, a timeless classic, an old favourite or even a world champions board of choice. It belongs on the wall.

Airax was born from a need to create a simple, seamless display rack. A way to support the board without it leaning against a wall, and better yet a rack that almost disappears from sight.

Our products

Unlike other rack systems, AIRAX suspends the board so it doesn’t lean against the wall, supporting it, so that it looks like it is floating off the wall. The fixing points of the rack, once secured to the wall, are hidden out of sight.

There are different types of racks to suit your board type. Low profile racks to suit boards with the fins facing out, or no fins attached, and adjustable racks for boards with fins attached and for long boards with big fins.

Designed with various screw holes so you can incrementally adjust each rack up or down. This helps to get the board horizontal or to suit a different board or orientation.

The keyholes allow for quick adjustment up and down, while the single hole can be used to secure it into position.

One screw will hold short boards / skate boards and snowboards using the smaller racks, while the larger adjustable racks will need 2 screws per bracket. Using one screw also allows the racks to pivot to match the angle of the rails. Use 2 screws per rack if you want to fix the racks at an angle, and for greater stability.

Ensure wall plugs / anchors are rated for the weight of the board.

For thicker surf boards, you might have to position the racks closer to the tip and tail of the board where it is thinner. Refer to the dimensions provided for each rack.
